Bellechase is unique in it’s composition in that it is made up of 7 different neighborhoods that have 7 different price points and all share one common HOA. The first thing you’ll notice driving into Bellechase apart from the beautiful scenic drive is that the main road through the community has no homes built along side of it. The road is the access point for the 7 different neighborhoods. There are still lots available in the various neighborhoods, however only 4 builders are allowed to build in the community: Armstrong, Centerstate Construction, Irvin Construction and Boutwell. The Neighborhoods of Bellechase
The Cedars: this neighborhood was built by the 4 construction companies but all the remaining lots have been sold out to Irvin Construction and at the time of this writing only a few lots remain. The community has 56 half acre lots total (give or take).
Heron Trace: this community has 10 one-acre home sites plus private gated homesites.
Laurels: this community was built by the 4 construction companies and has 78 one acre lots. There are still some lots available and the homes tend to be 3500+ sq ft in size.
Oak Hammock: don’t let the name fool you, they cleared this community of trees! Armstrong owns the remaining lots out of the 83 total and they range in size around one-third of an acre. Homes are 1800+ sq ft though Armstrong claims they probably won’t build that small and instead keep them to 2100+ in size.
The Village: the remaining lots are all owned by Armstrong; the community has 80 total quarter acre lots and homes are 1800+ sq ft in size.
Willows: the community has 104 one-third acre homesites with around 50 remaining at the time of this writing that Armstrong owns. The size requirement for homes in the Willows is 1800+ sq ft, however Armstrong says they’d probably not build that small and instead keep them 2300+ in size.
Woodlands: with 59 half acre lots total, there are 6 to 10 or so available and any of the 4 companies can build in this community. Homes are in the 2500+ sq ft in size range.
