Forest High School is located in SE Ocala in zip code 34480 on the current beautiful campus opened in 2005. The prior campus was opened on Fort King Street in Ocala in 1959. Forest has a four-year magnet program for engineering called the EMIT program, which stands for Engineering and Manufacturing Institute of Technology. Students can take the bus, drive to school if they have their license, or be dropped off and picked up. Football and baseball are both popular sports at Forest, and their program has produced several professional-level players. The school colors are green and gold, and the mascot at Forest is the Wildcat.
