UPDATE January 2023: This community is a complete mess. I’ve not been able to confirm. However, the rumor I heard was that Armstrong never owned the land to the homes they built and sold. I’m no quite sure how that was possible. However, they are gone, and I’m not sure Cherrywood Estates wants any part of this community, so I’m unclear if they have access to any amenities.
UPDATE August 2022: Armstrong Homes, who sold off most of their inventory to Lennar Homes over the last couple of years, apparently has not come to terms on this subdivision which is now owned by an LLC named A-Z Elite LLC. The LLC, according to Sunbiz, is registered to Fred Armstrong and Chris Zacco and was incorporated in March of 2017. We will continue to update about this community as we get more information, but as of this writing, it seems things are at a standstill, with the entrance sign showing signs of damage and disrepair.
The community is located very close to shopping, the new Publix, doctors, and restaurants and has easy access to Highway 200. Cherrywood Preserve has a lot of potentials to add much-needed value to the area, and we hope it will progress into more new home buying options soon.
